EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a CAD CAM Programmer / Mill Turn Manufacturing Engineer to join a precision engineering company located in Northampton, working on a permanent basis.
Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.
Key Benefits on offer:
* Competitive pay: Circa £45,000 per annum
* Shifts: Days with an early finish on Fridays
* 35 days per annum inclusive of statutory bank holidays

* Opportunity to work with state-of-the-art CNC Milling / Turning and Mill-Turn machinery
Your responsibilities include:
* Programming multi-axis CNC Milling / Turning / Mill-Turn machines using offline controls such as Hypermill software
* Proving out programs using Vericut
* Working from Engineering drawings / 3D models
* Reverse engineering and continuous improvement activities
Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:
* Minimum of 3 years programming CNC Milling / Turning / Mill-Turn / Turn-Mill machines using offline controls
* Hypermill would be desirable, however other packages may be considered
* Understanding of Siemens CNC controls
* Worked with multi-pallet, multi-axis machines
* Knowledge of implementing tool offset management
* Ability to work from engineering drawings and 3D models
* Previous experience in producing programs for complex components, ideally within aerospace, motorsport, nuclear, oil & gas or medical sectors
