Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Engineering Manager will provide leadership and management of the Engineering/Maintenance Department whilst supporting and developing a positive, high-performing, well trained engineering team.
Duties of the Engineering Manager will include:
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) – lean manufacturing tools are used to improve the reliability and efficiencies of all equipment and machines through close monitoring of OEE
Lead engineering and installation projects from investigation stage right through to commissioning/completion
Prepare, monitor and control an annual business plan and budget for the Maintenance Department
Coach, mentor and develop all members of the engineering team to improve capability and attitude
Ensure that all engineering and maintenance processes are undertaken to the highest quality standards
Research and develop new products, processes and equipment, and make recommendations for the improvement of existing products and services
Maintain awareness of the current legislation and regulations
