Job Title: Business Development Manager - TPI Sales
Location: Hybrid  
Salary Details: Upto £40 000 Basic, £52 000 OTE   
About the Role:
We are seeking a Business Development Manager – TPI to join our expanding and award-winning business sales team. This is a field-based role that involves engaging with senior-level stakeholders. The primary responsibility is to grow our Third Party Intermediary (TPI) channel in line with forecasted growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Account Management: Manage a portfolio of existing and new TPIs, such as energy consultants, brokers, and other intermediaries, to drive new business.
- Collaboration: Work closely with credit, finance, operational, and customer service teams to ensure cash and debt considerations are aligned with new opportunities and maintain effective customer service.
- Strategy Influence: Influence the B2B sales strategy by maximizing sales efficiencies and introducing new products and services to achieve overall business goals.
This role is diverse, challenging, and rewarding, requiring excellent communication and organizational skills.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you should have a passion for sustainability and a dynamic approach. You should be experienced in identifying opportunities, possess strong commercial acumen, and work collaboratively with departments to achieve customer targets.
Knowledge Required:
- Understanding of the energy industry (desirable but not essential)
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, or similar CRM systems
- Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office packages
Skills Required:
- Strong analytical ability to assess data and identify opportunities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and speak at conferences and events
- Effective relationship management and expectation-setting with customers
- Ability to develop senior-level relationships and leverage value
- High numeracy and problem-solving skills
