Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Services | Up to £38k | Full-Time Are you an experienced and compassionate leader looking to make a real difference in children’s lives? We’re recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join a dynamic residential care service, supporting children aged 7–18 in therapeutic placements. This is a unique opportunity to co-lead two small assessment homes, shaping care plans, mentoring a dedicated team, and helping young people achieve emotional stability and personal growth. Key Responsibilities Assist the Registered Manager with the day-to-day operations of both homes Lead, mentor, and support a team of care professionals Maintain high standards of trauma-informed care and safeguarding Contribute to assessment planning, progress reviews, and care delivery Build positive relationships with children, families, and external professionals What We’re Looking For Experience in residential or children’s care (essential) Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards it) Strong leadership and team management skills Person-centred, therapeutic approach to care Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK Minimum age 21 (sector regulations) Join a team that’s making a real difference every day If you’re passionate about supporting young people and leading a high-performing team, apply today or contact us to learn more.
