As Area Sales Manager for the South Thames region, you will work across three established product areas and seek opportunities to upsell, cross sell and maximise the business presence. Well liked and respected by clinicians, our client is in an expansion phase and able to offer prospects for senior sales in 12-24 months.
Candidates will need to demonstrate a passion and aptitude for learning technical products and absorbing clinical information.nTypical touch points in the NHS will include surgeons across ENT, Neurosurgery and plastics, theatre teams, procurement, ENT consultants, speech and language therapists and nurses.nTasked with growing an existing account base, this is an involved, hands-on role with daily travel across key centres in South London and surrounding counties.nSomeone who has sold across multiple departments in hospitals and who is happy selling capital equipment and consumables, upselling and cross-selling effectively within NHS trusts is a great asset in this role.nFor this Area Sales Manager role, we are looking for the following:
Technical product or a solution sale into hospitals.nFull driving licencenAt least 2 years of territory management experience.nAble to build long lasting relationships.nAbility to sell across a varied portfolio.nClinically driven salesperson or an experienced clinician wanting a commercial path.nThe Package for Area Sales Manager:
Basic: up to £60k (depending on experience)nCommission of £25k (uncapped)nCompany carnBenefits: Mobile, Laptop, Pension Scheme included.nHolidays: 25 days.nTHE COMPANY : Established in 2014 and born out of a previous medical distributor the business has a diverse portfolio of products across Otology, ENT, plastics and Neuro. It is now a thriving medical distributor with a very experienced and passionate management team. They have ambitious plans to segment the product portfolio and give career opportunities to people wanting to specialise in a clinical area. They are looking for bright, experienced medical candidates to drive the business areas and improve their presence in the NHS.
The successful candidate will live on patch, ideally in Surrey or Sussex.
