With a strong presence in Fife, this Accountancy Practice is dedicated to delivering innovative financial solutions and exceptional service to a diverse range of clients. As the firm continues to grow, they are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to contribute to their success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update accurate financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Process invoices, handle payments, and reconcile accounts.
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address accounts-related inquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an accounts assistant role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
