Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company in their search for Health and Safety Advisor to work in their leading facility in Telford.
For the successful Health and Safety Advisor our client is offering:
Up to £30,000 DOE
Day shift but may be expected to do rotating 6-2/2-10 shifts Monday to Friday from time to time
Permanent position
Immediate starts available for the right candidates
Overtime available and paid at T1/2
The Role - Health and Safety Advisor:
Health and Safety systems management
Updating, maintaining and issuing risk assessments
Manage and coordinate Health and Safety inspections
Ensuring employees receive correct and up-to-date H&S training
Fire safety systems maintenance
First aid equipment maintenance
Conducting regular Health and Safety meetings with line-management
Produce HSQE performance reports as required
Responsible for reviewing accident and incident HSQE reports and investigations
Provide professional support and advice to the senior management team and staff on occupational safety, health, environmental and quality matters
Provide positive leadership and promote the adoption of best practice
Championing and enforcing health and Safety within the business
What our client is looking for in a Health and Safety Advisor:
Previous experience within the food manufacturing/packaging industry - PREFFERED
NEBOSH or IOSH Certificate- ESSENTIAL
Keen eye for detail 
Strong communication skills
Able to liaise with colleagues at all levels
Happy to be involved in a variety of projects
