Role Description


We are ever expanding and have the fantastic opportunity to expand our clinical team. This is a part-time (scope for full time also) on-site role as an Associate Dentist at Absolute Dental Centre located in beautiful Kingsbridge, South Devon. The Associate Dentist will have a busy diary including a full scope of practice, support if required. The suitable dentist will be polite, hard working with patient values at the core of their practise. They will be a team player and be aligned to our core values. This is the ideal opportunity for a dentist that wants to excel in private and digital dentistry. You will also benefit from practice plan patients providing guaranteed monthly income.


Responsibilities


- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns

- Conduct routine dental examinations and provide appropriate treatments

- Educate patients on oral health care and preventive measures

- Interpret diagnostic tests like X-rays

- Keep detailed patient records and maintain patient confidentiality

- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive dental services

- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and attend continuing education courses


Requirements


- BDS

- GDC Registration

- Excellent communication skills and bedside manner

- Ability to work well in a team environment

2. RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY: Fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures and implants to restore the function and appearance of damaged or missing teeth.

3. DENTAL IMPLANTS: dental implant placement for advanced dental needs as well as bone grafting procedures.

4. COSMETIC DENTISTRY: Teeth whitening, veneers, and smile makeovers to enhance the aesthetic appeal of your smile.

5. ORTHODONTICS: Traditional braces and clear aligner therapy (such as Invisalign) to straighten misaligned teeth.

6. ORAL SURGERY: Extractions, wisdom teeth removal, and soft tissue surgery.

7. PERIODONTAL CARE: Treatment of gum disease and maintenance of gum health through deep cleanings and periodontal therapy. We are an Airflow GBT Certified practice.
