A prominent global insurer with a strong presence in the UK is looking to hire someone to oversee their AI Solutions. The role will involve blending cutting-edge technology with business impact. The team is looking for a Technical Lead in Intelligent Automation to spearhead the development of AI-driven solutions that transform our underwriting and claims processes. The Role Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end AI and automation projects, ensuring real business outcomes. Provide technical guidance to our RPA and automation teams, including offshore resources. Collaborate with business and data teams to deliver innovative AI solutions across the organization. Develop and execute proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the value of intelligent automation initiatives. Help shape company's AI Centre of Excellence, driving adoption of best practices in automation and analytics. Background Proven experience leading technical automation or analytics initiatives, ideally in insurance. Hands-on familiarity with AI, machine learning, NLP, OCR/IDP, and RPA technologies. Strong problem-solving skills, capable of breaking down complex challenges into actionable plans. Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and business audiences. Experience mentoring teams and managing offshore resources. Bonus skills: Knowledge of P&C insurance processes and automation. Python development experience. Education: University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
