An experienced

Senior QA

Automation Test Analys t is required for a growing financial technology firm that provides innovative digital solutions to support financial transactions and processes within the natural resources sector. Their solutions include digital trading, supply chain finance, risk management, and data analytics, to name a few.

With offices in the UK and Asia, the client is looking for an experienced

Senior QA Test Automation Analyst

to work on their award winning front to back office trade management platform.nYou will take ownership of the Test Automation process and frameworks cross the BAU Teams within the teams.

As the

Senior QA Test Automation Analyst , your role will be to

own and manage

the existing automation framework by adding new functionalities in UI and valuation systems that will benefit the release team across all business areas. This role requires expertise in test design, planning, execution, and reporting, using a variety of tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Test Design and Planning:nProvide inputs to detailed test plans and design UI and Data comparison automated tests.nImplement automated tests using

.NET, C#, and SpecFlow.nScale the existing automation framework by adding new functionalities.nProvide development estimates for automation scripts and release test activities.nUse Azure DevOps for project task managementnDocument test scope and summary using Confluence/Zephyr to aid Go/No Go meetings.

Test Preparation, Environments, and Execution:nExecute automated tests for each release and maintain the automation solution.nSupport QA-led UAT/SIT by performing automation test execution and reporting.nLead auto test execution and reporting for BAU releases.nOwn automation defects and follow up with respective Dev Teams / BA’s.

Test Reporting:nReport and maintain automation test reporting frameworks.nContribute to automation sprint activities including sprint planning, retrospective, and daily stand-ups and in daily defect and test management meetings and update defects from QA perspective.

The salary for this

Senior QA Test Automation Analyst Role is paying up to £95,000 + Benefits + Bonus.nThe firm operates a

hybrid

way of working with 3 days per week in the office in

London City .

Essential Requirements:nA minimum of

8 years’ experience

in automated software testing across regression, SIT and UAT.nPrevious experience

working directly

in a Front and Middle Office environment, with functional knowledge and experience of a full trade lifecycle, preferably within the

commodities trading / brokerage sector.nPNL experience will be a bonus for this role.nExperience using

C# / .NET

scripting for UI automation and

.NET UI

automation of ‘Windows Automation’ frameworksnExperience using

FlaUI

or similar windows automation librariesnExperience using Specflow or any other

BDD

frameworks.nExperience Test/Keywork/Excel driven automation frameworks.nExperience using nunit, dbunit, log4net, .NET libraries and API frameworks.nExperience working with an

ETRM

application (such as Allegro Horizon, Endur, Aspect) including pricing and valuation (P&L, risk exposure, etc.)nExperience in

GIT

version control.nExperience working with

Azure pipelines .nExperience of working in

Agile

and

Waterfall

delivery modelnGood

SQL

querying and scripting experience, backend test experiencenExposure to working with Power BInExperience working with Jira and Zephyr for defect management, test preparation, execution, and reporting.nStrong analytical, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.nKnowledge and experience of implementing test best practice.nPreferably

ISTQB

Foundation Level Certified or equivalent.
