*Contract:* Full-Time, Permanent
*Working Hours:* 40 hours over 5 days (including weekends) on rotational shifts

*Full UK Driving Licence and Own Vehicle - Essential

*Must have experience overseeing teams of staff in a busy kitchen setting
✔ Must be experienced working with fresh, seasonal produce
✔ Requires strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP requirements
✔ Candidates with a Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification are preferred
✔ Food preparation or health and safety qualifications are desirable

*Must be passionate about delivering top quality food
✔ Experience overseeing staff performance and disciplinaries is required

*Leading and managing the wider kitchen team alongside the Executive Chef
◾ Responsible for rota planning and absence management to ensure suitable cover at all times, accounting for contractual hours, annual leave, lieu days, and sickness
◾ Consistently maintaining strict hygiene and cleanliness standards
◾ Ensuring full compliance with company policy and UK law, including The Food Safety Act, Health & Safety at Work Act, COSHH, and fire regulations
◾ Teaching staff on how to correctly use kitchen equipment
◾ Overseeing all production, stock, and operational kitchen concerns
◾ Overseeing food procurement and stock management, plus supplier orders and deliveries
◾ Creating and implementing new food concepts and menu items
◾ Ensuring the team are effectively cleaning the kitchen and food preparation areas
◾ Responsible for guiding, training, and developing junior members of the team
◾ Recognising and addressing training needs within the team
◾ Managing catering needs for business events and functions
