Role: Mechanical Design EngineerSalary: £35,000 to £50,000Location: Basingstoke, HampshireCompany: Global Design & Manufacture of both bespoke and off she shelf productsAlways excited by the prospect of working with this close-knit team, given their brand and the reach of the wider Group.Inhouse they Design, Prototype, Build, Test and make their products, the team is R&D/Engineering heavy and if you are an engineer at heart, someone who wants to get fully involved in your design projects and develop your skills, you'll love it here.The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will be working with an experienced team who they can learn from, but also be given autonomy to find their own way.Responsibilities: Concept and Detailed DesignDevelop and Innovate new solutions within new marketsLiaise with manufacturing and customers alikeCreate reports and plansBe involved in testing and prototypingEssential Skills: Use of 3D CAD, preferably Solidworks (other similar packages considered)Industry experience as a Design Engineer for 2 years or moreMechanical Engineering Qualification to be held (Degree, HND/HNC, BTEC, NVQ)Ability to manage 4-5 projects simultaneouslyWhat is in it for you?Ability to get hold of your own projectsAutonomy given, but also support in your professional development availableHybrid working opportunity (first 6 months on site, to learn product line)A great environment with a team and business, who want engineers to enjoy what they do and develop along the way to benefit all.Please apply with your up to date CV or contact James Ewart at Tiro Partners
