My global market leading client are looking to recruit an Engineering Team Leader in Castle Donington, they can provide an excellent working environment and extensive progression opportunities.

Job Summary ;nThe Engineering Team Leader will support managerial duties and ensure a fully functional automated site. The Engineering Team Leader will have experience in leading and organising a team of maintenance engineers and be involved in hands on electro-mechanical maintenance.

Key responsibilitiesnHealth & Safety.nDaily meeting with stakeholders.nReactive/Planned Maintenance (Electro-mechanical).nControl maintenance activities on site.nEngineering Team Leading and Coordination.nUndertake analysis of CMMS data to assist forward planning for CI opportunities.nProvide clear communication and efficient instruction.nEnsure that reports are well written and legible.nParts Management.nProvide dynamic leadership.nPeople Leadership including delivery of performance reviews, development and coaching of team, dealing with employee relations issues and employee welfare and wellbeing.nManage the day to day running of the team, including tasks such as approving holiday bookings and holding return-to-work meetings.nAct as a role model demonstrating company values.

Skills, qualifications and experiencenProven history of strength in leading Engineers/Technicians.nA recognised engineering qualification.nIdeally experienced in Automation / Manufacturing / FMCG.nIdeally hold a H&S qualification.nRecognised apprenticeship in an engineering field would be desirable.nExperience of managing teams would be desirablenExperience of having operated a CMMS system preferred.nProven track record in service maintenancenAbility to communicate clearly verbally and in writingnComputer Literate, MS Office / CMMS systems
