Empowering Learning is currently seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in education and support students' learning and development. The position is available for an immediate start, offering a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Role Overview: As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a crucial role in assisting teachers and supporting the learning needs of students within the secondary school setting. You will work closely with teaching staff to deliver high-quality educational experiences, provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, and contribute to the overall positive learning environment of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
Provide targeted intervention and support to students with varying learning needs
Lead small group activities and assist with classroom management
Contribute to the planning and preparation of learning resources
Assist with the assessment and monitoring of student progress
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student successRequirements:
Previous experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or relevant experience working in a educational setting
A passion for supporting the learning and development of students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environmentBenefits:
