Mid-weight Interior Designer

We are seeking candidates with experience in high-end residential design and hospitality design.

You will gain valuable first-hand experience working in a studio and on project sites, contributing to exciting high-end residential and boutique hospitality design projects.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience within high-end residential and commercial interior design.
  • Experience working on projects from concept through to completion (must have site experience).
  • Someone who thrives in a small studio setting and is keen on playing a pivotal role in the studio's growth and success.
  • Passion for interior design with an exceptional eye for design and detail, and comfortable working on all aspects of the design process.
  • Excellent organisational skills and application of robust and methodical analytical skills regarding design service delivery.
  • Ability to deliver full ID drawing packages, including detailed drawings.
  • Proficiency in software including Vectorworks, Sketchup, InDesign, Photoshop, and Excel.
  • Excellent knowledge of materiality and finishes for interior architecture, joinery, and FF&E.
  • Good working knowledge of bespoke manufacturing and production methods, with a reasonable understanding of associated costs.
  • Extensive experience in sourcing architectural finishes and FF&E, including antiques, and meeting target deadlines and budgets.
  • Experience reviewing contractors' shop drawings and collaborating with contractors & suppliers to ensure the design and quality are executed as per the specification.
  • Experience in procurement and coordination of project installation.
  • Desire to take a leading role on projects and delegate to junior team members as necessary.
  • Ability to act as the main point of contact for day-to-day project communications with client teams, consultants, contractors, and suppliers on projects which they lead.
  • A proactive approach to handling challenges, always seeking solutions with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Right to work in the UK.


Salary will be dependent on experience. This is a full-time role based in our London Studio, located on Bermondsey Street, SE1.
