Architectural Sales Estimator

Advanced Recruit are looking for a detail-oriented Sales Estimator to join an established growing team for our client in Kingswinford. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for analysing project specifications, conducting cost analysis, and preparing accurate estimates for architectural projects. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
* Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to determine project requirements.
* Conduct thorough cost analysis by evaluating materials and equipment needed for each project.
* Collaborate with sales managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
* Prepare detailed estimates using industry-standard software or spreadsheets.
* Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact the project budget and timeline.
* Consult with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
* Present estimates to clients or stakeholders in a clear and professional manner
* Maintain accurate records of all estimates, including supporting documentation and revisions.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Estimator in the Architectural industry
* Strong knowledge of Architectural methods and materials.
* Proficiency in using estimating software or spreadsheets.
* Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
