Job Overview:
As an Academic Campus Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all academic aspects of the campus, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering a conducive learning environment. This role involves direct line management of the Assistant Campus Manager and collaboration with various teams to uphold academic standards and drive student success. Reporting to the Senior Management Team (SMT), you will play a crucial role in formulating reports, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing policies to achieve institutional objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Management:nOversee all academic activities on campus, including curriculum delivery, student assessment, and adherence to academic standards.nMonitor the performance of lecturers, ensuring quality teaching and compliance with established academic guidelines.nSuggesting and guiding ACs and Programme lead to line manage the lecturers and finding the suitable candidates to perform the jobs.nEnsuring the induction of the colleges done within the campus according to company policies and procedures and keeping the record.nCoordinate with relevant teams to collect course progression reports and populate bi-weekly reports on student performance.nPopulating monthly report for Head of Academic Services where performance of the staff and students based on each cohort need to be highlighted.
Team Management:nWorking closely with Associate Campus Manager & PL, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.nRegularly monitoring staff performance and report/feedback to relevant departments.nResolve staff queries and concerns related to academic operations, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:nRegularly monitor campus performance indicators such as retention rates, progression rates, and academic standards.nFormulate monthly reports on campus performance for presentation to the Senior Management Team, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
Policy Implementation:nImplement policies and procedures mandated by the Senior Management Team to ensure consistency and compliance across academic operations.nStay updated with regulatory requirements and industry best practices to inform policy decisions.
Examination Management:nEnsure timely administration of examinations, marking, and grade reporting in accordance with academic calendars and partner university requirements.nConduct internal examination boards as necessary to assess student performance and maintain academic integrity.
Education and Qualifications:nMaster’s degree in education, Business Administration, or related field.nProven experience in educational management, preferably in similar role.nStrong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.nExcellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.nSound knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.nEffective communication skills, both verbal and written.nAbility to remain calm and composed during emergencies.nFamiliarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards in the higher education sector.nCommitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the campus community.
