Contract length - 6 month


Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant for a project starting ASAP in the Northwest of England. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in financial services and expertise in various technical domains.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver automation solutions using a software engineering approach, balancing security, maintainability, and resiliency.
  • Architect, build, and maintain cloud-native applications, including event-driven and microservice-based architectures.
  • Utilize infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
  • Ensure effective monitoring, logging, and observability of applications for quick recovery from failures.
  • Communicate effectively with senior executives and key stakeholders, presenting initiatives and leading issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex, multi-threaded projects.


Essential Skills:

  • Significant experience in infrastructure automation and software development (Python, Go is a plus).
  • Proficiency with IaaC tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
  • Expertise in cloud-native application development and management (Red Hat Openshift, Kafka).
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and tooling.
  • Experience with alerting, logging, and monitoring frameworks.
