As part of our growth we are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager and Site Lead at our Washington, Tyne & Wear site - where you will be part of a global, and best in class operations team fighting fraud and piracy



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



This exciting and challenging role manages a team that manufactures security print and brand protection products according to customer requirements and schedules. This role provides support, guidance and leadership on methods and processes used to produced authentication products.


Duties:



  • Determines the best process flow for materials through production to meet customer
  • needs.
  • Documents processes to guide the manufacture of products.
  • Enhances processes to improve efficiency and yields.
  • Monitors and addresses issues during production to ensure quality and prevent
  • recurrence.
  • Collaborates with product development and sales to facilitate smooth onboarding of
  • new products.
  • Investigates and resolves internal and external non-conformance reports (NCRs) and
  • communicate with customers.

WHO YOU ARE:



  • A Seasoned Manufacturing Leader You will be adept at successfully managing manufacturing operations with tight schedules and deadlines in a high-pressured environment.
  • A Lean Operator and Continually Improving. You’ll have Proven experience and success in a Lean Manufacturing environment, with the ability to implement tools and processes and to continually promote this culture throughout the plant and operations.
  • Leading from the front. You’ll be Comfortable with maintaining engagement and morale as Site Lead, with people skills and leadership qualities essential for success.

NICE TO HAVE:


  • Lean or Six Sigma qualified.
  • Experience in the security printing or similar print processes or industries.
  • Degree Qualified
