Section Leader

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and prestigious company who provide a range of fresh vegetables to retail, foodservice, wholesales, and food manufacturing. Due to their continued growth and development, they are seeking to employ a Section Leader C for their Fosdyke, Lincolnshire site.
This is a permanent role.

The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Section Leader to join our team within the Fosdyke and Surfleet sites, working 19.00-07.00 on a 223-shift pattern.
You will play a vital role within our business, ensuring all operational targets are achieved within budget whilst ensuring Customer Service, Quality, Legality, Food Safety and Health & Safety are never compromised.
Duties to include:
Ensuring Health & Safety Rules are being adhered to.
Assisting with Risk Assessments and SSOW’s.
Ensuring High Standards of GMP.
Organising and leading team for intake, stock control, traying spinach, yard management.
Planning and managing labour, direct and agency.
Assist managing hygiene of areas.
Required for the role.
A can-do attitude is a must.
Self-motivated and flexible
Experience of working to challenging KPIs
Excellent communication skills as will be liaising with drivers, farm team and managers in addition to staff.
‘Hands on’ approach
Competent in using Microsoft Office and processing varied paperwork
Strong analytical skills
