Spot Welder

Nelson Permanent Placements are currently representing our client who are a reputable international Manufacturing business. Our client are now looking for and experienced Robotic Spot Welder to join the business on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operational performance of the robotic spot welding machines, ensuring that the machines are kept in good working order and all PMS in the department are completed to a high level and documented.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting & Operating our robotic spot welding machines
* Ensuring parts produced are correct to drawings
* Ensure that good levels of 5S are maintained on all machines, areas, and tooling
* Be Involved in continuous improvement processes and driving through improvements in all aspects of the team
Hours of work:
You will be 39 hours per week working 2-week rota shift pattern -
* Shift 1 – Monday -Thursday 6am -2pm and Friday 6am-1pm
* Shift 2 – Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm and Friday 1pm-8pm
