The Role


International Cash Equity & Fixed Income Settlements & Trade Support (City of London office of a global Investment Bank)


Martis Search are representing a City of London based, boutique but global Cash Equity & Fixed Income focused company “sellside” Investment Bank, to hire an International Cash Equity & Fixed Income Settlements & Trade Support Analyst.


The position is based on their London trading floor and supports Front-to-Back Operations for their Institutional Front Offices Sales and Trading teams. The team is small, with a very busy Middle Office department.


The role encompasses a combination of both UK & International Equity and Fixed Income Middle Office and Settlements, with the split weighted as Global Cash Equities, 70 %: Fixed Income. 30 % and Trade Support , 60 % and lastly Settlements, 40 %


In addition, you will also be required to have a “roll-up-your-sleeves” type attitude to all tasks.


There is a lot variety in the role, with some manual processes. Due to the small team, you will also be required to look at process improvements.


The company offer a hybrid model of both “working-from-home”, as well as “in-the-office” strategy, i.e. x 3 days in the office and x 2 day working-from-home.


Our client is looking for someone who has relevant experience from a reputable Investment Bank, or Institutional Brokerage, with International markets experience.


In addition, our client will look at either:


  • Someone with a minimum of 1-years’ experience in International Cash Equity & Fixed Income Settlements & Trade Support.

Or


  • Someone with a minimum of 1-years’ experience in International Cash Equity, or Fixed Income Settlements and who wants to be exposed to and to learn Trade Support.


Or


  • Someone with a minimum of 1-years’ experience in International Cash Equity, or Fixed Income Trade Support and who is also happy to do/learn a front-to-back Operations role within Equity & Fixed Income Settlements.


Or


  • Someone with a minimum of 1-years’ experience in Operations i.e. Corporate Actions, Static Data, Reconciliations and who wants to be exposed to and to learn Equity & Fixed Income Trade Support and Settlements.


Salary


£40 k pa - £48 k pa, dependent upon experience, plus discretionary bonus, pension, healthcare and other related benefits.
