Owen Daniels are recruiting for a prestigious engineering company in Gloucestershire who are seeking skilled CNC machinists to join their expanding team. This is  great time to join the business an be part of their bespoke precision engineering organisation.
The Role
Work safely and in line with the Company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Take responsibility for the Quality and Inspection of their own
Take ownership for cleaning and de-burring of the parts.
Maintain good standards and support a culture of 5S plus Safety in the way you carry out your work.
Set the machines and operate machines.
Tooling/fixtures and Edgecam programmes within the Engineering Department.
Work to the priorities of the “Work to List” or as “Set Out” by Production
All production hours must be captured through the booking of time on the works
Run the machines in line with the speeds and feeds called up by the programs and monitor performance
Inspection of the parts produced, using micrometers, verniers and coordinate measuring machine reports.Skills/ Experience
A Qualification with Engineering
Experienced within a machine shop or engineering environment.
Experience of Production Machining both Manual & CNC. Experience and knowledge in working with Duplex and Nickel Alloy
Good numerical and literacy skillsShifts
37.5 Per Week Shift - Double Days
6.00am to 2.00pm Monday to Thursday and 6.00am to 11.30am Friday 2.00pm to 10.00pm Monday to Thursday and 11.30am to 5.00pm Friday
