Position: PPA and Intervention Teacher
Location:Camden. London
Start Date: September 2024
Contract Type: Full-Time - 8:00am - 4:30pm
M3 Payscale - NO ECT Teachers for this position.
You will play a vital part in supporting students' SEMH needs, helping them develop the skills and resilience needed to thrive both academically and personally. You will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals who share your commitment to inclusive education and student well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality PPA cover lessons across various subjects, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining high standards of education.
Implement strategies to support students with SEMH needs, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Work closely with classroom teachers, SEN coordinators, and support staff to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) for students with SEMH challenges.
Foster strong relationships with students, encouraging their engagement, participation, and overall well-being.
Finally, monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential. Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - NO ECT teachers for this position
Experience working with students with SEMH needs, ideally within a school setting.
Strong experience and knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
Strong understanding of SEMH strategies and interventions.
Strong behaviour management is required for this role, and where possible experience from EYFS- KS2.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
