Panel Wire Person/Control Panel Technician

Monday – Friday 40 hours per week

Our Kent based client specialises in the design, manufacture & supply complete power and monitoring systems for the marine, specialist vehicle and off grid markets. Working as a Panel Wire Person you will be responsible for undertaking a range of electrical and mechanical assembly builds within a varied portfolio of projects to our SOP, including but not limited to: -
* Production assemblies. Assembling electrical panels, using hand tools.
* Production sub-assemblies; sub assembling electrical panels, using hand tools.
* Production of prototypes; working from drawings.
* Working from E-Plan and AutoCAD drawing to wire panels.
* Some mechanical assembly: using hand tools provided.
* Looming and crimping
* Completing work to a high standard
Duties & Responsibilities
* Working withing the Lean Team the main duties are as follows.
* To become familiar with our regular mechanical and electrical builds.
* Production of prototypes.
* Production of sub-assemblies.
* Installing cable looms Working on the Looming and crimping machines.
* Completing work to a high standard
Role Requirements
* 2 years’ experience in panel wiring or similar
* An eye for details and a self-motivated “can do attitude”
* Relevant qualification (preferred)
