Site Engineer - Highways
As a Site Engineer on our Highways Construction Project, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks and duties, including but not limited to:
Assisting the Project Manager in planning and executing the construction activities in accordance with project specifications and timelines.
Conducting site surveys and assessments to ensure the suitability of the proposed construction site for highway infrastructure development.
Overseeing the setting out and leveling of the site to ensure precise execution of the construction plans.
Monitoring and inspecting the construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality control protocols.
Collaborating with the design team and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and implement design changes on-site.
Managing subcontractors and coordinating their activities to ensure smooth progress of the construction project.
Preparing and maintaining accurate documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and material records.
Participating in regular project meetings to provide updates and address any concerns or challenges.
Promoting a culture of safety and adherence to health and safety regulations on the construction site.Qualifications and Experience: To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:
Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highway construction projects or similar large-scale infrastructure projects.
Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and practices related to highways construction.
Familiarity with relevant software applications and tools for design and project management.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project demands.
