The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Doosan Puma Lathes with Fanuc control, directly from drawings. This role involves working with a variety of materials, from non-ferrous to nickel alloys, and offers a four-day working week with the potential for overtime.
Day-to-day of the role:
Programme CNC lathes directly from engineering drawings.
Set and operate Doosan Puma Lathes with Fanuc control.
Work with a diverse range of materials, ensuring high-quality output.
Maintain equipment and troubleshoot any issues to minimise downtime.
Collaborate with the engineering team to optimise machining processes.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company standards.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CNC Turner with the ability to programme from drawings.
Familiarity with Doosan Puma Lathes and Fanuc controls.
Strong understanding of different materials and machining techniques.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Commitment to quality and precision in all aspects of work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Benefits:
