This is a short-term position and requires the candidate to provide supervision and oversight of the Project's contractors, ensuring safe operations and regulatory compliance concerning Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
Starting 25th July with the campaign ending at the end of August.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the point of contact for all HSE issues and provide support for the decommissioning removal operation.
  • Ensure adherence to regulations, policies, plans, and both internal and external reports.
  • Provide oversight to decommissioning operations concerning health, safety, and the environment.
  • Actively participate in all risk assessment discussions.
  • Implement the 'Stop the Job' policy when necessary.
  • Support and conduct safety meetings to ensure key HSE issues are communicated.
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements of the Common Operations Notification (CON).
  • Ensure adherence to the Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) Matrix.
  • Act as the custodian of documents, serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and maintaining the technical accuracy of specific controlled documents.
  • Ensure records of chemical use and discharge are maintained accurately.
  • Provide support to personnel on systems such as MOI, PTRAC, SEVRON, Asbestos Permit to Work, etc.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Offshore Survival to OGUK Standard or recognised equivalent
  • Have a good knowledge of the external regulations, approved codes of practice and all areas of HSE work on the platform e.g. PUWER.
  • Experience of heavy lifts or similar construction related offshore activities
  • Previous offshore experience with a multi-disciplinary contract company
  • Risk Assessment, incident investigation and auditing skills
  • NEBOSH Health & Safety Certificate (Diploma Preferred)
  • Occupational Hygiene Qualifications (Core modules in Asbestos, COSHH, Noise, Vibration),preferred but not essential
  • Radiation Protection Supervisor, preferred but not essential
  • Environmental Knowledge (UK Legal Requirements), preferred but not essential
This position demands a high level of commitment to safety, compliance, and the ability to work effectively within a rotational offshore environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and compliant execution of the Rig Workover project.
Location: Offshore
Mobilising out of - Norwich
Shift Rotation: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off Hours: 12 hr days
Accommodation- Hotel for night before mobilising if needed.
PAYE Basic Rate Competitive
