We offer a welcoming climbing community and facilities for every level of climber. Our purpose-built facilities cater to beginners and advanced climbers of all ages and abilities. We provide high-quality coaching and facilities for adults, children, schools, and groups. In 2020, we underwent a major refurbishment, including decoration, new climbing problems, revamped training areas, beginner climbing areas, and a new café layout.

Role DescriptionnThis is a full-time on-site role as a Front Desk Receptionist at Durham Climbing Centre, located in County Durham. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, managing bookings, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of the reception area. You will also assist with administrative tasks and support other departments as needed. Hospitality experience is desirable as the role involves operating a barista coffee machine and serving hot food.

As a customer facing business, Durham Climbing Centre is open 7 days a week between the hours of 8am – 10pm. This role requires working weekends and may require working in shifts, so flexibility is required.
