Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Fabric Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Fabric Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Fabric Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Fabric Engineer, will be responsible for:
* You will be responsible for delivering a building fabric service such as:
* Minor plumbing
* Carpentry
* Painting and decorating
* Patch repairs.
* You will keep the clients updated with any developments
* Recording all activities, remedial works, inspection logs etc
* Ensuring a high level of customer service and will need good verbal and written communication
* Comfortable working with IT to record your tasks and updates
To be successful for this Fabric Engineer role you must have:
* The ideal candidate would have a background in facilities management, a trade scheme or served experience.
* Ideally you will have worked in the building services sector, or similar
* Basic electrical and/or plumbing skills as you will be carrying out fabric repairs.
* Physically fit as the role does involve some manual handling
* Working at heights and in confined spaces.
