6 month contractWe are seeking a dedicated temporary Residents Manager to oversee the safety, security, and maintenance of a residential property. This role is ideal for someone with facilities management experience and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Day to Day of the Role:
Act as a key-holder, ensuring the security of communal areas and facilities.
Serve as the first point of contact for residents, contractors, and visitors, managing access to the building.
Candidates must also be comfortable visiting residents' homes without performing caregiving tasks.
Managing 10 employees
Coordinate with contractors for repairs, maintenance, and servicing of communal areas and equipment.
Manage laundry facilities and communal spaces, ensuring they are well-maintained and welcoming.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve repair, maintenance, and security issues.
Advise tenants on rent account management and property upkeep.
Perform water testing and safety equipment checks in line with health and safety processes.
Record health and safety inspections outcomes and manage any necessary gritting as per the service plan.
Provide emergency cover and support as required.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in facilities management.
Exceptional customer service skills and self-motivation.
Strong communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
Experience working with older people or in a service-based role is desirable.
Good understanding of diversity, equality, data protection, and confidentiality.
Excellent administrative, organisational, and IT skills.
Knowledge of the housing/building management sector.
Understanding or experience in health and safety management.
Flexibility to cover out-of-hours emergencies and travel to alternative sites.
Driving ability with access to a vehicle for work purposes (location dependent).Benefits:
