Role and responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of care staff to deliver exceptional, child-centered care in accordance with Ofsted regulations.
- Take charge of all safeguarding matters – Ensuring the highest levels of safety and protection for every child in care.
- Positive role model and mentor to the team of care staff – Providing therapeutic care and support for each child.
- Spearhead initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care, from conducting performance reviews and appraisals to delivering impactful training and planning innovative developments for our home.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with families, social workers, educators, and other key professionals to create a collaborative and supportive network for the children’s success.
Requirements:
- Experience in a management or senior role within a similar setting.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services.
- Significant experience supporting young people with EBD, SEMH and other complex needs.
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
- Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle.
