Role Description

This is a full-time (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) role for a Conveyancing Lawyer at Burnett Barker Solicitors Ltd in Bury St Edmunds. Working within the Residential Conveyancing team you will be a specialist property lawyer, supported by your own assistant, providing an efficient and effective service, delivering outstanding quality, client care and client satisfaction across a range of residential property transactions and advice, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Re-mortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • Plot sales and purchases
  • Deeds of Easement
  • Declarations of Trust
  • Deeds of Variation
  • Shared ownership properties
  • Unregistered land


Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in residential conveyancing
  • Strong drafting and legal document review skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer, with relevant experience (unqualified but with significant experience may also be considered)
