What you’ll be doing:

The role of Technical Proposals Engineer will be based at our ACE Winches facility in Turriff, with impressive state-of-the-art facilities all powered by wind.


ACE Winches is now part of Ashtead Technology. Together we continue to strengthen our product and service offerings for oil & gas and offshore renewables.


As a Technical Proposals Engineer, you will sit as part of our Proposals team, assisting in the preparation and submission of technical proposals for our Engineering projects. You don’t need to have previous experience in a proposals or commercial role, what’s key is your knowledge of Mechanical Engineering – we can train you on the rest


Having the technical, mechanical knowledge is important in this role as you will be responsible for compiling technical proposals and discussing these with clients. Being a Mechanical SME will ensure you succeed in this role.


What experience you’ll bring:

  • You will hold a BEng in Mechanical Engineering
  • You are pro-active, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
