We are working with an established Private Equity backed Infrastructure business who are looking for a Group Reporting Manager to join their dynamic finance team. Reporting directly into the talented Group Financial Controller the role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in group reporting and financial management.

Responsibilities:
Group Reporting and Consolidation:
Consolidate financial statements for 8 UK entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Prepare the Monthly Management Account packs for Monthly Board meetings.
Produce consolidated accounts and manage the audit process, keeping directors updated on progress and issues.
Statutory Financial Statements and Audit:
Oversee the production of statutory financial statements for all UK companies
Liaise with auditors during the financial year-end audit, supporting the Group Financial Controller and resolving audit queries
Lease Accounting and Fixed Assets Management:
Manage and account for a significant number of leases on the balance sheet, ensuring compliance with IFRS 16.
Maintain the lease database and prepare adjusting entries for group consolidated accounts.
Oversee the accounting for fixed assets, ensuring proper capitalisation, depreciation, and disposals in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of 3 finance professionals responsible for VAT preparation, statutory accounting, and other key finance functions.
Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
Tax and Compliance:
Oversee VAT and CIS reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC regulations.
Ad hoc due diligence ahead of a potential 2025 exit.
Cash Flow Management and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation and analysis of cash flow statements.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous process improvement, including balance sheet reconciliation and enhancement of financial controls.
Optimise reporting processes using NetSuite and OneStream.
Essential Requirements:
Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 2+ years post qualified experience
Experience of accounting for leases
Excellent inter-personal skills, able to influence all levels of the organisation.
Resilient, determined, willing to "go the extra mile"
Desirables:
Experience of using Net Suite financial system
From a Construction or Infrastructure Industry
