Simple Recruitment are looking for a Cleansing Operative for our client based in the Bristol area to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis, with an immediate start.
What will you be doing:
* Driving to various sites to keep the areas up to a professional standard.
* Emptying bins, sweeping, picking up litter.
* To carry out all cleaning using materials and equipment in a safe and proper manner.
* To follow procedures set out by the Street Care team and following health and safety guidelines.
* To report any cleaning equipment breakdowns, or any possible hazards in the workplace.
* To communicate with customers in a polite and friendly manner.
* Other duties as required
Other bits you need to know:
The role requires candidates to hold a full driving licence as you will be driving to various sites across Bristol and the local area. The above is not a full list of duties undertaken but gives an indication of the varied roles available across the department. An induction/training at site will need to be attended before being put into a shift. You will need to be physically fit, punctual and reliable as you will be working as part of a team.
Salary:
Weekday Rate:£11.44 per hour.
Sunday Rate: £17.16 per hour
Hours:
7.00am till 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Saturdays and Sundays are worked on a rota basis.
