Reporting to the Shift Manager, the successful candidate will support a culture where team members thrive and achieve their goals. With a hands-on approach, you'll drive continuous improvement to help the business achieve its objectives and reach world-class performance standards.
The shift pattern is:
Week 1: Monday to Thursday 5am – 3pm
Week 2: Monday to Thursday 2pm – 12am
WHAT'S ON OFFER:
* Starting salary of £33,120
* Employer pension contribution up to 12%

WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A SHIFT SUPERVISOR:
* Oversee the immediate/instantaneous output of the production unit, utilising escalation, and problem-solving methods.
* Manage and overcome both short and long-term restrictions on flow.
* Promote and build a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with safe working practices, polices, and procedures.
* Ensure compliance against the latest quality, food safety and legislation requirements, supporting the right first-time approach.
* Promote a working environment and culture that helps the work force meet the demands of business.
* Oversee the department on a day-to-day basis, making short term tactical decisions.
* Drive and promote a lean manufacturing culture within the factories.
* Working with various stakeholders to work towards the long-term strategic aims of the department.
AS A SHIFT SUPERVISOR YOU WILL NEED:
* Experience of supervising and leading a team within the food, FMCG or related sectors
* Working knowledge of an operational environment and packing lines
* Awareness of continuous improvement concepts
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills
* Training and coaching skills
* IT Literate
