Cyber Security Consultant - ISO20071, SOC, NIST, PAM - Perm, London

An international private equity firm seeking a Cyber security consultant to help manage, advise and develop networks of portfolio companies. This roles involves usual governance of network systems along with building core relationships with senior leaders- you will be required to conduct regular CISO/CTO roundtables.

The role will also require you to provide your expert advice on how to improve and develop existing SOCs ensuring optimum efficiency. You will be reporting directly to the C-Suite on daily activities.

The organisation is a specialist investment firm with interests in multiple sectors of industry. With bases all across the world, this is an opportunity to come into an ever-growing company at a senior level and be a key contributor on improving their portfolio.

Role:

  • Working closely with IT and security teams of portfolio companies
  • Conducting regular assessments and providing detailed solutions/recommendations
  • Involved in ad hoc remediation projects - monitoring, addressing and reporting vulnerabilities
  • Evaluating posture of potential investment opportunities
  • Leading regular CISO/CTO roundtables across various companies, facilitating exchange of information and cybersecurity practices
  • Synchronizing/incorporating new Data & AI driven data privacy strategies

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong background in NIST framework and policies relating to SOC2, ISO20071
  • Experience with conducting assessments and due diligence on companies
  • Hands on experience with cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, PAM, PEN testing and other industry standards
  • Excellent communication skills - need to be able to confidently engage and thoroughly explain process/procedures and technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to acclimatize, and build rapport, with teams across several different sector and backgrounds
