Electrical Assembly Technician required for my client based in Hitchin who worked within the automated solutions of the engineering industry.
The successful electrical assembly technician will be using a variety of tools and equipment, working across various areas of the company's production on both electrical assembly boards and circuit boards.
Electrical Assembly Technician Position Overview
* Work on electrical assembly boards.
* Work on circuit boards.
* Soldering work on companies' products.
* Maintain inventory of product and parts in work stations.
* Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
* Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
* Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
* Reporting to the department team lead and operations director.
Electrical Assembly Technician Position Requirement
* Experience working in an assembly technician role.
* Experience of electrical assembly boards and circuit boards is beneficial.
* Proficient in the use of hand tools.
* Enthusiasm and interest in engineering and manufacturing.
* Knowledge of materials, ability to distinguish types.
* Previous experience in manufacturing/ engineering environment advantageous.
* Based within a commutable distance of Kimpton, Hitchin.
Electrical Assembly Technician Position Remuneration
* Salary - £20,000 to £30,000 - dependent upon experience, skill and qualifications.
* Full time position - Monday to Friday.
* 25 Days Holiday, plus bank holidays.
* Pension Scheme. 8% contribution from company.
* Other Company Benefits.
