We are currently seeking an experienced and meticulous CAD Operator / AutoCAD Draughtsperson to join our team at our offices in Stone, Staffordshire . If you’re passionate about CAD design and are eager to work on exciting projects with a real-world impact, this is the role for you.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and update drawings using AutoCAD, focusing on P&IDs, electrical schematics, and general arrangement/as-built drawings .
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to develop and finalise red line drawings .
  • Ensure drawing management control and maintain all related documentation to the highest standards.
  • Use Autodesk Vault for drawing management, ensuring smooth and organised workflows.
  • Support the team in delivering precise and comprehensive designs for innovative projects in the gas sector.
  • Contribute to the engineering design based on your knowledge and experience



Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as an AutoCAD draughtsperson .
  • Strong background in P&IDs, electrical schematics, and general arrangement/as-built drawings .
  • Familiarity with drawing management and control processes .
  • Engineering knowledge to be able to identify opportunities to improve the engineering design and ensure high quality designs are produced
  • Collaborative approach, working with engineers to support production and operations and produce accurate red line drawings .
  • Ability to interface with suppliers and customers to support project delivery



Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Autodesk Vault
  • Familiarity with Microstation and Autodesk Inventor 3D
