My client is a successful and established Engineering Manufacturing company, and they are looking to strengthen their Goods In Team.
In this role, working full time, days and reporting to the Goods Inwards Controller, the key responsibilities will include:
* Receiving goods, and inputting onto the ERP system
* Quality inspection of goods in, ensuring the quantity, description and quality match the delivery note and purchase order,
* Producing reports on order status.
* Following the Supplier Quality Concern process.
* Highlighting non-conformances.
* Supporting inventory counts / off-loading of delivered goods.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a warehouse / goods in environment, and have an understanding of Quality Control within an Engineering environment.
A forklift licence would be advantageous, however training will be provided if required.
Highly organised, with great attention to detail, great communication skills are a must
