Summary
We're looking for an E-commerce assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our online retail platform. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about e-commerce and looking to make an impact in a fast-paced environment.
Contract/Duration: This is a fixed term position for 12 months
Hours/Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week.
Salary: £23,868
What it's like to work here
Reporting to the e-commerce manager, you'll be part of a small team working from home, with at least one day per week dedicated to working from our head office, based in Swindon which will be your contractual location. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.

What you'll be doing
Great Photography:
• Assist in the provision of photography and ensure that all product images meet our high standards.• Coordinate photography requirements to ensure timely delivery of images, playing a vital role in the photography critical path.
Great Product Copy:
• Support the creation and uploading of accurate, engaging, and error-free product copy for our online store.• Coordinate with various teams to ensure that product descriptions are timely, grammatically correct, and inspire customers.
Content and Site Merchandising:
• Manage site merchandising and search result pages, utilising your knowledge of Magento's backend system.• Ensure that products are categorised and merchandised in line with sales targets, profit margins, and visibility goals.• Maintain consistency across category banners and build content pages that adhere to predefined templates.
Excellence in Customer Service:
• Ensure prompt and courteous handling of day-to-day customer service issues, acting as the first point of escalation.• Regularly review customer feedback through platforms like Feefo and respond appropriately.• Manage refunds and contribute to weekly customer experience reviews, focusing on enhancing customer satisfaction.
Supporting the Critical Path and Trading Plan:
• Assist in the timely upload of new and in-season products, ensuring that all pages are optimised for conversion and profitability.• Work closely with the trading team to ensure that landing and content pages align with the overall trading plan.
Reporting and General Support:
• Provide general support to the E-Commerce Operations Manager, assisting with reporting and various administrative tasks.• Take ownership of any required actions from Talking Shop meetings, ensuring they are executed efficiently.
