Electrical Project Manager - HV Infrastructure Newcastle | ?? Full-Time | Permanent Competitive Salary + Benefits About the Company Our client is a leading UK engineering consultancy and renewable infrastructure developer , specialising in grid connection projects, private networks, and high-voltage (HV) electrical installations ranging from LV up to 400kV . They are fully accredited under national connection schemes and are expanding their delivery division due to significant project growth across the UK. The organisation is known for: Delivering complex grid and energy infrastructure projects for major utilities, developers, and private network operators. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in HV projects, grid connections, ICP environments, or National Grid/DNO operations .You will oversee the full project lifecycle across construction, design coordination, contractor management, programme planning, and commercial oversight . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced engineering environment and wants to contribute to major renewable energy and electrical infrastructure projects. Project Delivery Manage electrical infrastructure projects from LV-400kV. Lead, coordinate, and monitor construction activities to meet programme, quality, and safety standards. Maintain real-time cost tracking, cashflow, risk registers, and progress reporting. Ensure compliance with construction regulations, safety rules, and project-specific requirements. Commercial & Contract Management Financial management of construction activities. Review and approve contractor invoices. Support contract sign-off and tender stage validations. Compile employers' requirements and technical documentation. Stakeholder & Team Engagement Work closely with clients, DNOs, consultants, and internal teams. Chair weekly progress meetings and provide updates to senior leadership. Mentor junior team members and promote company values. Support business development activities where required. Essential Experience 5+ years in HV industry as an Electrical Project Manager or similar. Experience with National Grid, DNOs, ICPs, or HV electrical contractors .
