Quality of Care Manager Role
To ensure care and support is delivered to demonstrate adherence to legislation and best practice.
As a Quality of Care Manager, you will Increase inclusion of services for adults with learning disabilities in quality monitoring processes to help measure compliance and quality of life.
To plan, direct and report on the activity of the Quality Improvement Manager Team to ensure support is given to registered managers to achieve and maintain compliance and quality.
.Advise and support registered managers under inspection or quality visit, including attendance on site, providing information to support the inspection.
The Quality of Care Manager will support and oversee routine communication with CQC relating to notifications, PIRs and remote monitoring.
Support the Head of Quality and Assurance in the development of a continuous quality improvement cycle of activity.
The Quality of Care Manager will work with the Quality of Care Business Partner to ensure regular review of serious incidents and safeguarding concerns that drives assurance and learning.
Support business growth in new local authority areas by reviewing contractual obligations and ensuring compliance activity is sufficiently geared to meet these.
The Quality of Care Manager will work with Registered Managers, Business Partners and our full Leadership Team to provide guidance and support to others as needed.
Quality of Care Manager role Skills/ Attributes
Comprehensive knowledge of the regulations in the Health and Social Care Act, Care Act and Mental Capacity Act,
Knowledeg of the regulatory frameworks used to assess compliance and quality
The ability to act as subject matter expert to guide and advise operational teams.
Demonstrable experience of delivering consistent, high quality outcomes as a registered manager or social care professional, including as a regulator or quality professional
