You will play a crucial role in developing the physical literacy, well-being, and sportsmanship of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective PE lessons across Key Stages 3-5.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
Organize and lead extracurricular sports activities, clubs, and school teams.
Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback and support to help students reach their full potential.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative PE curriculum initiatives.
Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of students during PE lessons and extracurricular activities.
Promote the school’s values and ethos, contributing to the overall development of a positive school culture.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Physical Education or a related field.
Proven experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Physical Education.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A passion for physical education and a commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
