This position will commence in September 2024 on a full-time basis and will run until the end of the academic year with the possibility of an extension depending on your success in the role.
About the School

Pupils attend this supportive school where they stand at the forefront of every educational experience. Pupils learn essential life skills, discover emotional regulation, and cultivate a love for learning. A tailored curriculum has been crafted to support each child in achieving their maximum potential. This curriculum is intentionally designed to foster inquiry, exploration, and knowledge, starting from each child's individual baseline.
The competitive pay rate for this position is between £120 and £210 per day, depending on experience. You will be required for the rest of the academic year.
Reception Teacher
The successful teacher will be responsible for the progress and attainment of a high achieving Nursery class.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Create engaging lessons that align with the EYFS National Curriculum standards and support the creative curriculum delivered by the school
Understand age-related expectations for children within EYFS and scaffold and stretch accordingly to maximise educational outcomes for pupils as individuals
Keep up-to-date records of data and analyse where and what to reteach to bridge gaps in learning and maintain high levels of attainment
Build a positive rapport with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect
Work effectively as a team player with the TA, key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources and best practice
Essential Requirements:
-QTS (Or an equivalent teaching qualification)
-Excellent references to support previous experience in EYFS (ideally in a Nursery class)
-A CV that covers full employment history
-The right to work in the UK
