Principal Software Safety Consultant A new opportunity has arisen for a Principal Software Safety Consultant with a leading engineering company. Role Overview:
As a Software Safety Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and reliability of software systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing expert guidance on software safety practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
Serve as the go-to expert for software safety matters.
Lead the development of software safety capabilities within the organisation.
Project Support:
Contribute to bid management by providing technical insights.
Oversee software safety aspects in project delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
Working towards Fellowship status in a relevant professional institution.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong understanding of software safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, DO-178C).
Experience with hazard analysis, risk assessment, and safety case development.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
