One of the largest, privately owned construction companies in the UK, are currently looking to appoint a Senior Site Manager for their North West business.
The company has an excellent reputation in the industry through successfully delivering refurbishment and new build schemes across various sectors up to 20m, including Healthcare, Education, Retail and Commercial.
The Senior Site Manager will either deliver their own project, or work with a Project Manager on a larger scheme. The first project you will be working on is refurbishment works on a 'live' hospital in Cheshire.
The role will include:
- Supervise and effectively manage all subcontractors and labour on site
- Monitoring overall progress against programmes.
- Liaison with clients and the management team in striving to achieve good standards of quality
- Monitor projects to ensure they have the correct resources to be completed on time and to the required standard
- Monitor the performance of the workforce on a regular basis and provide training and support where necessary
- Ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety Management System
- Build and maintain good relations with clients, design teams and any other stakeholders
- Providing leadership, guidance and mentoring to members of the project team
