Primary Teacher

The Year 7 program is designed to bridge the transition from primary to secondary education, providing stability and continuity for students with SEMH needs.
Role and Responsibilities: As a Primary Teacher for Year 7 students, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a tailored curriculum that meets the unique needs of our students. Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum.
Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that supports learning and emotional well-being.
Implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans (BSPs) in collaboration with other staff.
Supporting students' social and emotional development through structured activities and interventions.
Monitoring and assessing student progress, and providing regular feedback to students, parents, and senior staff.
Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including SENCOs, therapists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
Managing classroom behaviour effectively, using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies.Key Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in primary/SEN education.
A deep understanding of SEMH needs and strategies to support students with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to the well-being and development of all students.
Experience in developing and implementing IEPs and BSPs.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.What We Offer:
