Working Arrangements: On-site


Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead in designing and executing large marine electrical installations,.
  • Collaborate with vessel manufacturers to provide installation guidance and develop customized system variants tailored to specific vessels.
  • Ensure compliance and safety in hazardous environments by applying your expertise in ATEX rated installations.
  • Utilize professional drawing software like EPlan to create precise electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Work closely with a diverse team to seamlessly integrate electrical systems into our advanced marine technology solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring technical excellence from concept to implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in overseeing large marine electrical installations, showcasing a deep understanding of marine industry complexities and challenges.
  • Possess expertise in ATEX/IEC Ex rated installations, emphasizing safety and regulatory compliance in hazardous areas.
  • Show proficiency in using professional electrical drawing packages such as EPlan, Siemens Capital, or Zuken to create detailed engineering documentation.
  • Excel as a collaborative team player with outstanding communication skills, adept at conveying complex technical ideas to diverse teams effectively.
